Nalaganje boot loderja (grub)

LP

Kako naložim še enkrat boot loader (grub) ker sem ponovno namestil OS Windows XP na eni drugi particiji in sedaj je grub izginil! Torej kako se ga ponovno namesti, da lahko znova zaženem ubuntu!

    grub --version
    grub (GNU GRUB 0.95)

    testiral sm z eno skripto če moj grub podpira background pa pravi da ga.

    No pol editiram /boot/grub/menu.lst dodam vrstico :

    splashimage (hd0,1) /boot/grub/splashimages/biosplash.xpm.gz
    ki sigurno kaže na obstoječ fajl ....

    pa vseeno noče za nic na svetu pokazat slike zadi ...v bistvu se mi grub takrat sesuje ...zacne neke crtice dol risat ...pol pa se mi zboota v linux. A se komu slučajno sanja ...kaj naj bi blo narobe ? A komu slučajno to deluje ?

    dej pasti se /etc/fstab

    Problem bi lahko bil npr. v tem, ce mas posebej boot particijo...?

    Evo folks na easy ....

    Da se vam ne bo treba preveč matrat z iskanjem :

    convert -resize 640x480 -colors 14 image.png image.xpm && gzip image.xpm

    kjer je image.png slika , ki jo pretvarjamo v 14 bitne barve in resolucijo 640X480 .

    Ful me pa zanima kako so pr Suse nardili tak fajn login ....tisto je malo boljsa resolucija kot 640X480

    Edino kar nism pogruntal se kako se v GIMP-u dela PNG datoteke z 14 bitnimi barvami da nebi delalo taksnega grdega povprecja barv kot ga dela po zagonu tistega ukaza.

    ko so eni prjavljali da majo rjavo barvo :))

    In ja seveda ...zadnjič je bil problem samo to da sm dal vmes presledke pa brez = je blo napisano zdej dela brez problemov. Hvala myha :)

    By default, the boot loader GRUB is used in SUSE LINUX. However, ,,,,,,, to je blo napisano za verzijo 9.3 k ma boot loader z zelo dobro resolucijo... kako so to nardili mi je pa neznanka ....


    je pa res ..da ne vem al je tisto GRUB splash al kak fork ...GRUBA k so ga sami napisali. Je pa lep za videt to pa ni kej za debatirat.
  • Zanima me, zakaj po updejtu dobim ene 6 verzij (k)ubuntuja ene default, default save, generic, generic save, previus, previus save.

    Hmm več različnih verzij ? No fora je samo v tem, da se ti po updatu verjetno naloži nov kernel starega pa še pusti v /boot direktoriju za vsak slučaj. Ker se avtomatsko po kernel updatu na novo sestavi menu.lst dobiš več izbir. Na začetku se lahko odločiš s katero verzijo kernela (linuxa) boš pognal računalnik. Seveda pa se da to tudi zbrisat. Za to si boš mogu pa kej prebrat.
